Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Find Device ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our iOS application published by Sulubeyn ("we" or "us"). By using Find Device, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Overview
Find Device scans for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices, estimates proximity, lets you track selected devices, and may show where you were when a device was last detected. We designed the app to process most data on your device. We do not sell your personal information.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information processed on your device
- Nearby BLE device identifiers, advertised names, signal strength (RSSI), service UUIDs, and inferred device type
- Devices you choose to track, including status (nearby, lost, found) and timestamps
- Your approximate location when a tracked device is detected, if you grant location permission
- App preferences such as language selection and onboarding completion state
Tracked device data is stored locally on your iPhone using on-device storage (SwiftData). We do not operate a user account system and do not upload your scan results or tracked device list to our own servers.
2.2 Permissions you may grant
- Bluetooth: Required to discover nearby BLE devices.
- Location: Optional. Used to record where you were when a tracked device was last seen and to comply with iOS requirements for Bluetooth scanning. You may skip location permission and still use core scanning features.
- Notifications: Optional. Used to send lost/found alerts for tracked devices.
2.3 Subscription and purchase information
If you subscribe to Find Device Premium, payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider. We may receive subscription status, product identifiers, and anonymized purchase metadata from RevenueCat and Apple to unlock premium features. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
2.4 Support communications
If you contact us by email at [email protected], we receive the information you choose to send (such as your email address and message content) so we can respond.
3. How We Use Information
- Display nearby and tracked devices and proximity estimates
- Send local notifications when a tracked device appears lost or found again
- Show last seen location on a map when location access is enabled
- Provide, maintain, and improve app functionality
- Validate premium subscriptions and restore purchases
- Respond to support requests
4. What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use Find Device to track people without their knowledge.
- We do not claim to provide the exact GPS location of third-party Bluetooth devices.
- We do not guarantee detection of every nearby device; only actively advertising BLE devices may appear.
5. Third-Party Services
The app may rely on the following third parties:
- Apple — App Store billing, iOS platform services, and device permissions
- RevenueCat — subscription management and entitlement verification (RevenueCat Privacy Policy)
These providers process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable law. We encourage you to review their policies.
6. Data Retention
Data stored on your device remains until you delete it, stop tracking a device, delete the app, or reset app data. Subscription records retained by Apple and RevenueCat are governed by their respective retention policies. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the app. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Because most data stays on your device, you should protect your device with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.
8. Children’s Privacy
Find Device is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. International Users
Find Device is operated from Türkiye. If you use the app from other countries, your information may be processed on your device and by third-party providers such as Apple and RevenueCat in accordance with their policies and applicable law.
10. Your Choices and Rights
- Revoke Bluetooth, Location, or Notification permissions in iOS Settings
- Stop tracking a device inside the app
- Delete the app to remove locally stored app data
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple ID subscription settings or the in-app Customer Center
- Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you provided directly to us
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when changes are posted. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
