Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Find Device mobile application ("App") provided by Sulubeyn ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. About the App
Find Device helps you scan for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices, view estimated proximity and distance, track selected devices, receive lost/found notifications, and optionally view last seen location information. The App is a utility tool and is not a replacement for Apple Find My or manufacturer tracking services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
3. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and applicable App Store rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, rent, or create derivative works of the App except as permitted by law.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App to stalk, harass, or monitor people without lawful authority or consent
- Use scan results to invade another person’s privacy or break applicable law
- Interfere with or disrupt the App, servers, or networks
- Attempt to bypass premium features, subscription checks, or security measures
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
You are responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with local laws, workplace rules, and the rights of others.
5. Permissions and Device Requirements
- Bluetooth is required for scanning.
- Location is optional but may be needed for last seen map features and is required by iOS for Bluetooth scanning in many cases.
- Notifications are optional and required for lost/found alerts.
Some features may be limited in the background, when the App is force quit, when Bluetooth is off, or when a target device stops broadcasting. We do not guarantee uninterrupted scanning or alerts.
6. Accuracy and Limitations
You understand and agree that:
- Distance and proximity are estimates based on signal strength (RSSI), not precise measurement
- Device names and types are inferred and may be incomplete or incorrect
- Only BLE devices actively advertising may appear in scan results
- Last seen location shows where you were when a device was detected, not the device’s exact location
- Lost/found status depends on signal availability and iOS background limits
The App is provided for informational purposes only. Do not rely on it as the sole means of locating valuable, medical, safety-critical, or legal evidence items.
7. Premium Subscriptions
Find Device may offer optional paid subscriptions ("Premium") through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Premium features may include rescanning, access to additional nearby device lists, and full map functionality. Available plans, prices, and features are shown in the App and may change.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID Account Settings or through the in-app subscription management tools
- Free trial or promotional offers, if available, convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends
Refunds are handled by Apple according to App Store policies. We do not process refunds directly.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Sulubeyn or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App.
9. Third-Party Services
The App may integrate with third-party services such as Apple App Store billing and RevenueCat. Your use of those services is subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
10. Privacy
Our collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR ACCURATE.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SULUBEYN AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR PREMIUM IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sulubeyn from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may suspend or terminate access to the App if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence require otherwise.
